Chris Olean starts his forth season as the manager of the Mudhens.  In his second season as manager Chris led the Mudhens to their 5th Class B State Championship in 2007.  Chris was named to the Class B all-tournament team in 2007.   Chris is also the University of St. Thomas Tommie pitching coach. His UST pitchers have led the conference in ERA in six of his seven seasons. He's also a member of the UST Athletic Hall of Fame, Olean earned first-team All-America honors as a pitcher and as a senior led UST to an NCAA runner-up finish. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers and spent two seasons in their organization (6-1, five saves, 3.50 ERA, one one-hitter), and also played one season with the St. Paul Saints. The Minneapolis Washburn grad was second in Division III  in ERA (0.60) in 1999 and finished with 97 strikeouts as a senior and 246 Ks in 248 innings on his career. His 24-8 career record included a 15-1 record in conference play. Chris and his wife Shannon reside in Vadnais Heights.
